I am a longtime publisher and writer of books, music, art and magazines. My most recent books are Priesthood Power–Blessing the Sick and the Afflicted and Rescuing Wayward Children. I have just completed a major 5-book doctrinal series called The Three Pillars of Zion, which was announced August 2009. For nine years, I owned Sonos Music Resources and published the Tabernacle Choir Performance Library, and I was also the owner and publisher of Keepsake Books. Combined, I have published about 600 products for numerous authors, composers and artists. I founded two non-profit organizations: The Latter-day Foundation for the Arts, Education and Humanity (to promote LDS arts), and Gospel Ideals International (to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ on the Internet). My wife, Elizabeth (Buffie), and I have been married for 38 years we have ten children and 15 grandchildren. We live in Orem, Utah. Visit me on Facebook: “Larry Barkdull”

Hi Larry,
I enjoyed your article about “The Frightening Reality of Sin.”
There was a part in there about light being substance. I
have a really cool quote from Parly P. Pratt about that if you are interested. Let me know.
Thanks. Vicky
Dear Larry
I am a person who really likes reading Gramps articles. Are you taking his place since he died? And are you answering questions as they come or perhaps using his previous answers?
I tried looking up Blogroll and got lost in the interpretation. This is mentioned in your profile. So I must assume that it has something to do with this prior Gramps Site?
Any way I am glad someone took it upon themselfs to keep up with the Gramps site. He helped a lot of people. I have even sent in some questions to him myself. I also see my daughter did that just recently also… Any way thanks for doing this. P.S. if you use this please don’t use my last name…
Enjoyed your article The Frightening Reality of Sin. Not sure about copyright. May I use some of your ideas in a High Priest lesson?
Dear Larry,
Bobbi and I read with great interest each and every article in Meridian Magazine. I count myself honored to be one of those 600 people who were helped by you. My book has brought much joy to my family (both in and out of the church) and even been the source of some converts.
You have a wonderful talent. Keep it going.
Thanks again for everything.

Dear Larry,
What a great and inspired author you are. Your unsights and special talent to express our wonderful belief is amazing. I am from Chile but I live in Roy. I speak Spanish, ( Castellano). We do not have in Spanish all these wonderful articles.
The articles “Becoming a Zion Person” and “Flee Babilon and Come to Zion” have touched my heart and my mind in an amazing way. You have the power to speak clear, to open eyes and minds, to speak to our dormant spirit sinken in many worries and sadness.
Thank you for all you are doing in this marvelous Meridian Magazine. When I am reading your articles, I do not want to close my computer. It makes me so happy . I love you and I appreciate your inmense knowledge. THANK YOU !!
May God bless you and your family.
Best regards.
Mercedes
Dear Mercedes,
Thanks for your kind words. I served a mission in Argentina. I love Castellano! I hope you will go to my new website (www.PillarsOfZion.com) and get a free download of the Pillars of Zion Sampler. It has articles from my soon-to-be-released 5-book series called The Three Pillars of Zion. If you like it, tell your friends so they can get a free copy, too.
Bendiciones!
Larry
